The delight in the hatred, racism, anti-blackness is staggering. Not only not hiding it, actively delighting in it.
The entire Latino population in the U.S. is 65 million. She means all of us.

I’m going to be very honest and clear.
I am fully preparing myself to die under this new American regime. That’s not to say that it’s the end of the world. It isn’t. But I am almost 50 years old. It will take so long to do anything with this mess that this is the new normal for *me*.

"Learn to code" was always bad advice, unless you actually like to code. College students have the best chance of professional success if they major in topics that interest them. Today in @startribune.com. Please tell high school students and parents.

Not the point of this important post, but just another of the ongoing moments I’m so fucking glad to no longer work for an institution with buildings named after Ben Tillman and Strom Thurmond.
Repealing the 15th Amendment was a demand of the worst racist demagogues of the early Jim Crow era, like "Pitchfork" Ben Tillman of SC and James K. Vardaman, the "White Chief" of Mississippi.
