When I get a job (hopefully soon) I realized I have basically no work attire after nearly 6 years of wfh. Remedied that by taking advantage of BF sales and have a slew of things headed my way. TBH I feel a little guilty spending the money but I also will absolutely need it, and I spent wisely.

Today was a nice day. Slept in, made some bracelets, finished an audiobook, read a short story by a fave author, ate a Thanksgiving meal with my roommate, managed a shower, and started a new show on BritBox called Happy Valley.

I really keep forgetting that it’s ok to have bad days in this healing process. Today my left knee has felt weak and unstable and I was getting mad at myself at first, but then I remembered that healing isn’t linear and setbacks are ok, even if they’re frustrating.

Tell me what is something you absolutely must have with you in the bag you take to work, aside from the obvious necessities? It’s highly likely that whenever I get a job I’ll have to be in-office for the first time in nearly 6 years, and I’m not sure I remember how to do this.

Even after 18+ years of pulling tacks, staples, glass, barbed wire, and who knows what else out of wrestlers, I’m really scared to get these surgical staples taken out next week. Like, I’m totally gonna cry.

Today i changed out the gauze and ace bandage combo for a silverlon giant adhesive bandage and my leg feels good so far. I’ve also been getting around the house today with the cane only and let me tell you that took about 3-4 weeks with the right leg so I feel tremendous.
