Another Gaster therapy page, this one with slightly larger border graphics. I find that I enjoy shading them with graphite to relax. Marker or a bit of watercolor, too.

I'd have toned back the sign of the eye, but my printer tends not to pick up on it otherwise.

#Gaster #GasterTherapy
One body, many hands. The border is made of various hands, and they have the four digits of Monsterkind. Gaster is in the center, one hand lowered, one hand raised. An eerie eye is in the background.

Text reads: "Vision can be a diverse halo of possibilities. Its existence and motive force comes from you. What guides you today?

Blurred or broken Wingdings are in the background.

Luck was on my side, somewhere between the draft and inking layer. Ctrl+Z is also my friend when it comes to the evils of knuckle joints and fingertips.

Stylus pressure is, at best, a mercurial ally.

I was originally thinking of skeletal hands and bones. Some other time. The border file grows!

Skeletal knight before a wall of spirits

The original TRON movie did have rather variant entities only seen for a little while, 'Data Pushers.' There are, of course, smaller takes on a concept or being (such as Bits), and plenty of room for interpretations. Gridbugs implied a sort of ecology of effects; Tron:Uprising also added to these.

Life is a lot right now, but as time goes on, I hope to create more. I have a list of *checks sketchbook notes page* 15 so far, and they will take shape as they may.

I really cannot predict currently what the general format tendencies will be. I've not yet shared any full-page works just yet.

For the record once I have more 'Gaster therapy' pages (so you have a view on the angle that I am taking them), would anyone benefit from full-size pages?

I assume that compression here would not be too bad. I also don't know if Nightshade protection messes with various printers.

Eventually the intent was to either have them set up in double-sided print format, booklet print format, or for a 7X11" book format. For myself, of course.

... Am I making Gaster work into a mild, if literal therapy book? Or a book where I can literally colour the monochrome copies?

Yes, yes I am.

The world has been stressful, so I decided to start making print pages for relaxing. A little bit of open thought, a suggestion in text or picture, and a surface on which to draw or write

Gaster has a pipe. There is a touch of implied landscape, along with an experiment with border details

#Gaster
Not one book but many. An image of a page made for print, meant for writing, thought, or relaxation. Gaster is seated, with simplified clothing layers. He is holding a pipe in one hand. A border of books are on either side.
Text reads: "The world can be difficult. Smoke, breath, and mist can show current previously unseen. Would you draw and explore this?"
Wingdings are faded in the background.

This is true. I use getting a cup of tea as an excuse to walk around (5-15mins), stare at things.

Incorporate small tasks, and build them into healthy habits.

Also: your screen should not be something you can reach out and touch.
Stretch too. Back/core strength is important. Hip flexors as well.

Artists/writers/PC laborers:
- Get up for 5 mins every 30 mins
- Look at something 20 ft away for 20 secs every 20 mins
- Get 7-8 hrs sleep. PRIORITIZE this over all else
- Drink 2-3 liters water per day

Do these things because you don't want to experience what makes you regret not doing them.

This may be useful for various artists. Direct streaming of your art process.
somartist.bsky.social
Would that be an interesting format for art lovers? SuprSketch team is building a platform for artists to "stream" what they're working on live to your desktop. Currently I'm helping test, you can watch over at suprsketch, link thread.

My first thought is: "Ghosts of the earth."

To earth and dust all shall return — some shall complete this dance far more artfully than others.

Interesting. I was unaware of this capacity. It will be a vast benefit for many artists and creative folks.

I will need to keep notes on this, especially in this fraught atmosphere where it is easy to demonize expressiveness of many forms.

The part of Orwell's 1984 that everyone forgets is how human music has been replaced by soulless, machine-generated pop songs. The AI attempt to take over the film and music industries is an attack on the human spirit. Boycott AI actors. Boycott AI bands. Support human artists.
“There was a whole chain of separate departments dealing with proletarian literature, music, drama, and entertainment generally. Here were produced rubbishy newspapers containing almost nothing except sport, crime, and astrology, sensational five-cent novelettes, films oozing with sex, and sentimental songs which were composed entirely by mechanical means on a special kind of kaleidoscope known as a versificator.”

These sections are in need of at least one mad necromancer or scientist. Maybe some form of deranged or materially-lacking artificer. If they really wanted to get creative, they could have a demon-channelling warlock.

That is what my mind tells me. 'These must be animated guardians or experiments,'
lucrata.bsky.social
Overtly,it does not. Implicitly... That is the interesting part. How does your fandom change your view of the world? What other stories and topics call to it?

Imprisonment.Unsure future.Struggle,compassion.Taking risks for kindness. Egg.

As time goes on, you may see what you love out in the world

Not only that, what if your magically active substance just doesn't suspend, dissolve,or activate *in a solution which isn't traditionally palatable?* Is a dangerous alcohol/mercuric solution worth it for that magical function? Aftercare?

If magical potion, why not injection? Suppository? Eyeballing??
lucrata.bsky.social
Magical world concepts that embrace aftereffects or usage consequences of potions are the superior kind. If they have to be ingested, how do they act, exactly? Is the duodenum more magical than the pancreas? Does it activate latent power of the appendix?
What about the liver/kidneys in all of this?
lucrata.bsky.social
Well, this isn't concerning at all...

Omg congrats Hiyori!! (人*´∀`)💜✨

I have a few wips lol
The first is nearly done, it's a lore drawing for my Undertale au but I plan to draw 5 of them in total and post them in batches (my hand won't be ok)
The second is a drawing of my aus Gaster, a design seperate from his cloaked look hehe
There's gonna be 5 of these, 0 to 4
I can't draw hands yet one of his powers are hands
Why do I do this to myself

Another Gaster book complete. This time, for meaning, the sign of his hand having the rightful Monster four digits. Thorn symbol beside

Small book, made more to see if I could make one at that format. I could also try book edge trimming without a guillotine or book plough.

#Gaster #Bookbinding
A small book, set with the pale sign. The book is 4.5" x 5.5", and more of a proof-of-process for quarterfold bookmaking.
