Most MPs are honest, hard-working and clean as anything. Dragging Parliament through the dirt hurts everyone, especially the weakest in our society. Next time you wonder why governing has got harder, this type of a debacle is one reason.

Although there will of course be commentary on the political fallout of the Epstein files, as that will likely be consequential, the number one focus and priority must be absolutely clear: the industrial scale abuse of women and girls by powerful, rich men.

The problem with social media is that you’re only allowed to hold opinions in batches. If you believe X and Y, you must also believe Z, which is atmospherically similar to X and Y and believed by all the same people.

If you don’t do this, everyone hates you. It makes actual thinking impossible.

This. I’m not a natural revolutionary to say the least but this whole mess is making me want to man the barricades.
The Epstein Files ought to comprise the easiest political case against the billionaire class ever conceived. Any politician who supports policies favouring the ultra-wealthy should never be able to escape this association.

This is the sort of crap that rightly enraged people against Boris, and Starmer falling for it shows how deeply politically inept he is.

Neil Gaiman. Still sad/angry about it.
Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop.

I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss.

The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

In my morning scroll of misery I’m seeing a lot of reposts of “TikTok is censoring anti-ICE content” but far fewer reposts of replies from people pointing out that their video of amusing cat antics is also blocked and that maybe the platform was experiencing technical issues

The Traitors is coming to the stage, with a theatre production in London in 2027.

It will be written by John Finnemore (Cabin Pressure) and directed by Robert Hastie (Operation Mincemeat.)

We have friends in the US, have visited several times and almost certainly would have gone again before 2029 but now resolutely won't.
