Worth noting that one of the most practical ways you can support image-based abuse survivors is by signing our petition to introduce a dedicated Image-Based Abuse Law:

I'll never really understand artists (writers included) who want to take shortcuts with their work. The joy is IN the work, isn't it? It's in the struggle and stretching and hammering. Anything that speeds up my writing is, I think, probably bad for it.

Here's my poem on the subject 🙂
Standing up for our daughters

‘I’ve got no f*cks left to give’ is a
line I see online, most often from a

middle-aged, middle-class woman

frustrated with the nurturing
of undeserving people
that she’s done for many years

hurting and soul-searching
she thinks perhaps it’s time to

speak out

now that she has

•	confidence
•	a home
•	security of income

she wants her daughter, colleague,
niece, to know they don’t have to put up with
all that crap

turns out that she does still
care, after all.

In my latest political profile I interviewed Justice Minister for VAWG Alex Davies Jones about Labour's plans to tackle male violence against women and girls.

"Image-based abuse is just as serious as physical abuse":

Very excited to be publishing Cecile's brilliant book CTRL HATE DELETE in Spring 2025 - exploring how the manosphere and male supremacy went mainstream (as well as those fighting the anti-feminist backlash). In the meantime:

I am so proud to share this article I have written for Migrant's Women's Press as part of the #16DaysOfActivism2024. In the article, I discuss how press coverage fails to discuss femicide as the crisis it is.

To mark the #16DaysOfActivism2024, I've been working on a bundle of resources to help readers envision (and fight for) a safer, more inclusive world for women and girls.

As Arundhati Roy says, “Another world is not only possible, she is on her way."

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if all you accomplish this weekend is reading a riveting novel cover-to-cover whilst drinking multiple kettles of tea and consuming a scandalous amount of croissants, then you will have accomplished more than enough.
