For example, my family and I are in need of ongoing community care and support in order to remain housed, repair our only vehicle that has not been drivable for several months, and to pay for my ongoing learning and education. I’m committed to becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a somatic educator and practitioner, a midwife’s assistant, and more. As a full-spectrum birth, death, & crip doula who is a severely & multiply disabled, chronically ill, mad, neurodivergent, crip Malayali and as someone who is trans, queer, and predominately bed- and housebound - I will be serving those who are especially like myself and don’t have access to care and support. Your commitment to offering resourcing to my family and I will allow me to be able learn and gain skills that will be offered to those who most need it and don’t have access. I find it hilarious that I was unadded by someone who I think I followed due to their politic - but when I commented on a post because I was concerned about possible ableism and then apologized if I misunderstood the intent, they un-added me. Are folks truly radical when they ignore having collaborative discussions with their disabled comrades? Disabled people exist everywhere - including people being disabled by empire via murderous, genocidal violence. Ya'll continue to exclude us in some shape or form due to your own harmful practices and behaviors. Ya'll can't handle conflict or practice conflict resolution when there is harm. And ya'll consider yourselves a comrade? A collaborator? A co-conspirator? Where are ya'lls praxis?? Or are ya'll just words.

It's highly concerning to me that birthwork is very much cis, hetero, able-bodied, sane-minded, and white-centered - whether it's the birthworkers or the people who have access to care and support from birthworkers.

Today is another day where I feel like I cannot keep going as a person living with severe disabilities and chronic illnesses.

The cognitive dysfunctioning contributes to intense fog and I also have intense fatigue.

I'm incredibly uncomfortable in my body.

I've studied and continue to further my studies to be a full-spectrum birth- & deathworker. I'm also presently studying to be a somatic practitioner. I want to offer my skills and to utilize my wisdom and knowledge as a mad, neurodivergent, crip who is a generational cyclebreaker and creatrix. I'm not necessarily seeking financial reciprocation - but desire to offer kind, compassionate, loving care and support and will accept other resources in return. I am dedicated to virtual carework - but it will be offered on crip time as I navigate being severely disabled.

I was discharged in the morning and I'm very much grateful to be home!

The ER doctor did listen - the annoying part was him placing more value on the feelings of doctors who are unable to successfully manage and treat patients with complex symptoms - such as myself.

I'm feeling extra concussed from what feels like adrenaline dumps due to #dysautonomia and also from having intensified symptoms due to having severe #myalgicencephalomyelitis and #LongCovid.

I feel extra awful today.
