I think it really depends on who. I saw Mk.gee live and it was a phenomenal concert (Andrew Aged played with him). I also love what Joni did in the 80s. Definitely not mad at them for bringing her sound back :)

It’s wild to me how much of the “innovations” happening in the pop/rock music world today are actually things that Joni Mitchell pioneered in the 80s and 90s. I love Mk.Gee, but he’s essentially recreating Joni’s Night Ride Home and Taming the Tiger sound. What a legend she is!
