The GG right now is basically powerless, so you're right. I'd prefer a bit of separation of powers to reduce the influence of the PM somewhat. At the very least as a moderating influence.

True, but at least the GG is chosen by the PM, and is basically a rubber stamp. Personally, I think the GG should be an elected position, and we should scrap the monarchy, because it's 20-f'ing-25 already, but as long as Chucky stays in his lane, I'm cool with it.

Recording pedalboard. JHS Colour Box pedals act as console preamps (with a JHS Pulp N Peel compressor on the white one), into the MOTU M4 interface, which is connected to the inverted M4 Mac Mini (solves the power button issue nicely). Yes, I have a Mac on my pedalboard!

The main board and my Orange amp (which I converted into an FRFR cab). This would take too long to explain. But feel free to ask any questions.

The input board. The Joyo Orthros has selectable input levels for different guitars. The Junction Box is just a patch bay that actually needs to go under the main board. The TC Electronic Brainwaves (pink pedal) needs to go, as does the Wah, and, in fact, I'm working on a total overhaul of this board at the moment.

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.

Immigration agents have the authority to detain whom they reasonably suspect are in the country illegally. We found more than 50 Americans who were held after agents questioned their citizenship. They were almost all Latino.

Agents also can arrest citizens who allegedly interfered with or assaulted officers. We compiled cases of about 130 Americans, including a dozen elected officials, accused of assaulting or impeding officers.

Among the citizens detained are nearly 20 children, including two with cancer.
