Oh no!! Well I can tell you that I was told by my dentist when I was diagnosed with bruxism (teeth grinding) that you can exert many, many times the normal force of your conscious self when asleep. So she could literally have been grinding/tensing so hard maybe that did it?!

It’s a good theory tbh I hadn’t considered that. I’m right handed and the problem manifested itself 20 years ago after extensive controller/computer use and I let it go a long time till it was so painful it interfered with day to day life. 😑 this time I went sooner after my wife prompted me again.😉

Thanks! As long as I follow doc’s advice re: the brace and the cortisone works as expected, I should be feeling better in 2-4 weeks. That was my experience last time, so I hope it will be same!

Not a doctor but 20 years ago had de quervains tenosynovitis in my right hand - seems that history is repeating itself in my left! So got a cortisone shot and big thumb stabilizing brace today.

$208 brace which insurance may or may not pay for. Joy!!

A really weird one today, it gets a solo post. Art is by Ken Bald, & I’d ask “What the *hell* is happening here?!”
A ghoulish figure is seated/riding astride a gargoyle/or an actual beast flying?
The raised arms are odd, perspective also is off..

Needs more pumpkin and less chips for next batch. This batch just has a little taste of pumpkin not enough for my tastes. Still cookies from scratch that are not a mess is a task I haven’t done before so I am proud!
