I started playing Caves of Qud, and I made a custom player sprite and then drew them.

Really rough concept for the main screen UI in GODSLAVE. Obviously the aspect ratio is way off, but I love the idea of the health bar being represented as the god larvae gestating inside the player's brain, and its tail curling around your resource flask.
Everything else is just metal/stonework.
