[email protected], Nadja Klein and I just published a new paper on bikes: 🚲 We predict the cycling volume for major streets in #Berlin using data from Strava and bike sharing systems.
Result: It works so-so, but much better with additional short-term counts in from the predicted street!

In our paper (w/ Nadja Klein & @lynnhkaack.bsky.social), we use ML and crowdsourced data to estimate city-wide bicycle volumes beyond sparsely located counting stations.
