The Lake (1978) is the only other film made by Lindsey C. Vickers, director of The Appointment. It manages to conjure up a rather malevolent atmosphere during its short runtime through some subtle and unsettling sound design, camerawork and location photography. Recommended!

Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes (dir. Kevin Kopacka, 2021) starts out as Rollin/Franco vibe Eurohorror then abruptly turns into film about group of filmmakers making said Rollin/Franco vibe, film which descends into acid soaked free love post shoot party and...well, just watch it. Highly recommended 💀
