I got a job offer yesterday and I verbally accepted. I think it will be a good fit. Cautiously optimistic. I'm not out of the woods financially, but should be able to keep my apt and car. I don't want to post too many details on SM, but it's better pay and benefits and with the city government.

Our concerns extend beyond RUSH HOUR 4; we are referring to all the current issues involving Paramount. The Ellisons are blindly betting on Trump and rushing into disaster. It's so pathetic and immature. Don't these billionaires really have an ounce of sense in their heads?
Hollywood has definitely done worse than making a bad movie for Trump

I wish I was better at just flat out telling people they're wrong. Like, I stew about things because I want to be delicate even when I know I'm right about something. I wish I was as petty on the outside as I am on the inside.

I don't mean shit posting opinions. I mean actual facts.

Well, I just got a 2nd interview from this one, so I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought.

I always want to say I got a 'callback' and that's insufferable theatre folk behavior.

I was possibly interested in ONE scene from the Wicked films because of Jeff Goldblum. I just saw a clip of it and it's been so completely changed from the show. I'm not sure disappointed is the right word, but I guess I should have known Glinda would have to be shoehorned in. 🙄

If the Wicked movies can't get just one kid to hop on HBO watch Oz like George Michael on Arrested Development did it will all be worth it

Cancelled last minute... 🙄
Job interview today. They are taking me to lunch. It's a good thing, of course, but I'm nervous.

Also, what is it about men of a certain age who want to talk AT you and not really interview you? It's exhausting. Bro, I just need a job.

really is incredible how often "men are having a problem, let's fix it using someone else's entire life" comes up. does the institute for family studies understand that children are whole complete human beings whose existence cannot be used as a coping mechanism for their fathers' anxieties? (no)
