Other, perhaps more iconic Scots words that deserve some love:

dreich - tedious; damp and wet
shoogle - shake or move from side to side
wheesht - call for quiet or silence
fankle - to tangle or mix-up

I most know shoogle from the phrase: "yer jaiket's on a shoogly peg".
