Annoyed at the reasons people bring up for why ai is “bad”; I’m not arguing for the use of generative ai, but I do think a lot of absolutely bunk arguments are getting thrown around that have very little basis in ethics or the hard facts, which is where opposition should be coming from

I finally realized that the reason my gaming group doesn’t want to play new ttrpgs isn’t because they don’t want to try new games; it’s just the same resistant that they (and I) show towards starting a new show, like yeah it looks cool but I’m already invested in a bunch of other things right now

There’s something uniquely odd about seeing gorgeous breathtaking art of a woman and then you visit the artist’s page and it’s the only time they’ve ever drawn a woman, and every other piece of art is like, gacha game yaoi. I’m not telling anyone what art they should make it just feels odd

I’m sure I’m not the first to say this, but D&D has an identity issue; it wants to be D&D with all the history that implies but it continually tries to change its rules to appeal to people that don’t want to play D&D. It’s having your cake and eating it too, but I think it goes even deeper than that
