Found out today adding "-ai" to a Google Search no longer eliminates the AI overview.

(Unfortunately, I'm still dependent on some Google functions. No longer on Meta or X so baby steps...)

This may be paywalled for some but it's worth a read: it separates the AI sheep from the AI goats in the publishing/media biz. It's a fetid slaughterhouse out there, 61% of professional authors (mostly PR/marketing/advert wallahs) use AI in some fashion.
