finding it mildly disturbing that I am all but sure i had my settings to show ONLY THINGS FROM PEOPLE I FOLLOW, and my feed is half filled with non-shared posts about something violent that happened. I very much do not want to hear about these things and intentionally curate my feed for my health.

ironically one of the voices i used is how I used to quietly narrate hazel's lines to myself as i'd write her or test out how lines sound in meatspace so i know if it genuinely could pass as good wording.

the reason 101 dalmations looks like that is because disney incorporated xerography (ie early photocopying technology) into the animation process. rough pencils (by mostly male animators) were copied onto the cels so that disney could fire the (mostly female) inkers. remember that art can lie to you

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
