I posted this five months ago. Still waiting.
Until I see a significant Democratic politician call for a national strike, tax boycott or occupation of Wall Street, then I will consider their social media posts empty lip-service. We don’t need you to tell us what’s happening; we know. We need you to lead and help us stop them.

Jeff Bezos doesn’t show up often near the top of “world’s most evil” lists, but he did destroy most American retail, bust unions, abuse employees, destroy online quality control and waste billions of the space/ego thing. No surprise he’s wrecked the country’s finest newspaper in record time.

There’s no longer any doubt Trump will marshal all the powers of government - all of them subservient, whatever the reason - to fix national elections. He will never transfer power voluntarily. Anyone who supports him and the GOP at this point is on the side of dictatorship. (Photo link below.)

There’s no longer any doubt Trump will marshal all the powers of government - all of them subservient, whatever the reason - to fix national elections. He will never transfer power voluntarily. Anyone who supports him and the GOP at this point is on the side of dictatorship. (Photo link below.)

The Republican Party no longer resembles the GOP of the past 50 years. Retaining the same organizational name is clearly misleading the people who vote for party candidates based on its historical values. Ethically, a new party name is called for.

The coverage of Trump’s news conference today was mostly “Trump said this” and “Trump said that” but I watched that mess and most of it was Trump not saying anything, just staring at random papers in his hand and occasionally whispering some strange syllable.

Is Trump is a Russian asset, a fool or simply insane? The end result seems it will be the same - the destruction of our country, rising social disorder and hate, and the end of the bonds between nations that kept the world from blowing itself up for 80 years. We are impotent in the face of madness.
