Chase has had his pills... resting now... tomorrow is his blood draw and we find out if he can go under anesthetic.
Parents called today too. They want to pay for half his surgery costs. He means as much to them as he does to me. We want him to pull through this. For now, comforts and treats.

End of the night update. He took to the bone broth really well tonight. His back leg is swollen, but given his condition, I suppose it's to be expected. He's still got some sensitivity, but he's just as playful as the day I adopted him.
Will call tomorrow about the swelling. For now, he's sleepin~

Chase actually got some rest last night compared to the night before where he just paced all night, and seemed at least partially interested in water. Bone broth to keep his strength up, soft food to keep him fed. Just doing what I can to pull him through this.

So it seems my boy Chase will be needing some surgery and I finally got the estimate. I just want him to come out okay from all this crap he's going through.
