Did you know, incidentally, that Cat Stevens did a comedy country song about the time he got deported from the US because he was on the no-fly list, and got Dolly Parton, Paul McCartney, Alison Krauss, and for some reason Terry Sylvester of the Hollies to sing bits of it?

Not a lot of mystery about why Gallagher appears to have chosen Spurs over Villa: London vs. Birmingham, and he probably goes straight into the team in a World Cup year, which isn't guaranteed at Villa.

We're hyperfocused on ourselves in the news media. That the turmoil at CBS News has become so widely known that it's the subject of jokes at the Golden Globes confirms that it's not just media echo chamber reflection and is a legitimate company PR problem.

The CBS censors tried to silence out the F-word in Erin Doherty's Golden Globes acceptance speech. But they mistimed it and censored everything *but* the "f---."

You realize, right, that Miami could win the national championship before it wins its first ACC championship?

With 2 minutes left, Miami has a slight edge in the contest for the right to get whacked by Indiana.

Recycling is the law in most states, and some of us in the U.S. agree with and follow it. If your company super-pastes nonrecyclable labels that require dish soap and scrubbing to remove from otherwise recyclable bottles, we're buying from your competitors. That's lost sales, bub.
