Having a goal and a dream is nice and it makes socializing so much easier. There are people out there who truly wish to see me succeed. There are people who are really eager to trust me with their hair and sense of aesthetics, and nothing has ever motivated me like this before.

As I contemplate my cptsd being triggered and sit with these symptoms, I need to remind myself that this isn't my fault. That wasn't my fault. None of it is or was.

I am not responsible for others reactions. They own those. And I own mine. I can stay measured and in control of myself.

Learning to do hair is bringing me so much joy. And a ton of lost girlhood I didn't even realize was there.

I could have done this in my highschool's trade program. I wanted to be like my old music inspiration, Hide of X-Japan.

But fear pushed me into computer repair instead.

Also the fact that everything is turning into white LEDs now in places that do have lighting. This creates contrast and blinds you more as opposed to the warmer tones of old halogen bulbs. And in cars they are just making the road unsafe

Ugh I know. I started at 21, worked a job with an hour commute and had a cigarette in my hand if I was driving. A few packs a week. I started vaping when those fat loud rolling batteries were popular. Cut back on the nic dosage, but didn't quit until my HRT appointment was coming up
