Besides the obvious, how in the hell are we safer under trump? By my reckoning (and it seems the reckoning of pretty much everyone with an expertise in such matters) we are immeasurably less safe now than we have been since WWII ended.

I'm a big fan of Katie Porter. As soon as Eric announced he was running for governor he got my vote. He's not perfect but at least right now it seems like he's our best bet.

This might be controversial but I actually think the US should be preparing for a war. Not in Venezuela though. In Ukraine. Not a war of aggression. A war of defense. We gave them our word as a nation that we would defend them from Russian aggression. We haven't done shit to defend them though.
