Tomorrow is International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
Girls must complete secondary education if we are to address the gender gap in Science. We support girls to do just that in #Malawi. Congratulations to those who persevere against considerable odds and to their teachers for their support.

Spent some time today (after a nice bike ride in the 'daylight') working on figures for a wonderful group in #Lancashire. The Lancashire West Methodist Circuit support 6 girls at sec school in #Malawi #Karonga. They also make the most delicious cakes. Say Hi to Dilys - the powerhouse behind it all!

A great loss to Malawi and Scotland - yesterday, this amazing man, Alan Laverock, passed away peacefully after a fall.
He will be greatly missed. We all remember him with gratitude.
