There's a middle between 'creating for yourself' and 'finding an audience' and that's making creative friends. Friends who are familiar with the work you do, create themselves, can be honest or kind when needed. Lots of creatives are going through what you are, find one who matches your freak.

as a hobbiest, I dont really want to give advice with certainty but I think it's really easy to get discouraged by fake and perfect looking WIPs you see everywhere. AI is lying and some artists are a little too 'humble' about what counts as a wip sketch. Messy is the norm. It can be uggy

If you live in the US, call your fucking representatives and tell them that repealing Section 230 is a horrible idea. If Section 230 is gone, you can kiss Bluesky goodbye.
