Many years ago, I was at a house party in London, pouring myself a drink in the kitchen, when some guy I had never met before walked in.
We were the only ones in the room, and he just stood there looking at me, so I decided to introduce myself and said "Hi, I'm Mari".

I've generally got a good handle on being long term sickly and not letting it get me down, but I've had a relentless series of annoying extra ailments since the start of November, and it's really starting to test my cheery disposition.

Well we set off an hour ago, got a tiny part of the way there before the roads become basically stationary... then they decided to call the whole thing off and we spent eh next 45 minutes trying to get back home through flooded roads.
Think it was wise though. It's horrible out there.

My mum is hosting a quiz tonight to raise money as my sister and niece are running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK.
Sadly the weather is horrendous, so I fear a lot of people won't be able to make it.
