Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

I know people are waking up to how bad streaming services are for artists, music discovery and the environment. If you have a huge collection of mp3s like me, I can't recommend www.navidrome.org enough. You do need to be a bit techy to set it up, but it's pretty straightforward.

This guy, Dean Jones, was great at playing scientists. The other night I saw him in an episode of Murder, She Wrote called Harbinger of Death where he played an astronomer.

I loved Sherlock Holmes and Count Dracula by Christian Klaver! I'm a huge Holmes fan and I can see some of the more traditional fans balking at this type of crossover but it was so cool!!! It's just so well done. I had an idea of what it would be in my head and it was infinitely better than that.

This looks amazing!!!
I just learned that this exists and now I have to share it with you all because I don't even listen to podcasts, but just knowing that this is a thing has unironically increased my overall happiness and wellbeing:

I do not understand in a world where comic book movies dominated the theaters for a decade and more people play D&D than ever why Hollywood still insists that every other fantasy movie needs to set a chunk of the film in the "real world" as some attempt at a meta narrative. Just let it be a fantasy.

Fucking hell, somehow the new Masters of the Universe film looks even shitter than the Dolph Lundgren version.

It seems the name of one of Starfleet Academy's sports teams is "Laplings", as seen on banners in #StarfleetAcademy's first two episodes "Kids These Days" and "Beta Test". The team (and possibly also its mascot) is named after laplings, as seen in #StarTrekTNG's "The Most Toys"➡️ and "New Ground".

Look, it's The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue. I love this film so much!!! If you haven't watched it, you definitely should. You know, if you like zombies.
