Who knows but odds are MAHA won't actually clean up the food supply.

We'll find out from @foodfixco.bsky.social, but I expect Betteridge's law applies and any U.S. push for better labels & reformulation will hit the same obstacles as in Europe, per @alessandroford.bsky.social for @politico.eu:

Time to shift from cure to prevention! ✅

5/ Bottom line:

Yoga might help with CRF after treatment—but current evidence doesn’t let us say for sure.
If you're considering yoga, go for it—but don’t expect it to be a cure-all just yet.

4/ Why the uncertainty?

🧪 Small sample sizes
👁️ No blinding (hard to blind yoga!)
📉 Missing long-term data
📋 Varied outcome measures

3/ After treatment:

🧘‍♂️ CRF: Yoga probably helps in the short term (moderate certainty).
🌱 QoL: Small potential benefit—but the evidence is still very uncertain.

No strong data on long-term effects.

2/ During cancer treatment:

📉 CRF: Evidence is very uncertain. Yoga may have little to no impact in short, medium, or long term.
🙂 QoL: Yoga may help slightly in the short & medium term—but again, certainty is low.

🧵1/ Yoga & Cancer-Related Fatigue (CRF): What Does the Evidence Say?

My former colleagues at @uniklinikkoeln.bsky.social just reviewed 21 RCTs, 2041 participants, asking one key question: Does yoga 🧘help with cancer-related fatigue (CRF) and quality of life (QoL)? Here’s what we found ⬇️

🌍 Who connects the dots in global health governance at #WHA78?

Dozens of side events in Geneva brought together states, UN agencies, philanthropies, activists, and others. But who served as the bridges across all that noise?

Here’s a visual story. 👇 🧵1/

💬 Peer pressure (the good kind) helps more

These findings aren’t just about COVID—they could shape better communication for future health crises too.

✅ Education & info campaigns increased vaccine uptake significantly (RR 1.23)
✅ Social norms framing worked even better (RR 1.28)
🤷 Most strategies didn’t shift intention much

Respect to the young activists in the picture! And also: When will Germany follow the UK and ban junk food advetising?
emmacalvert.bsky.social
‼️Food companies spending big (an extra £420m) ahead of new UK junk food ad rules… Coinciding with a bumper 12 months for sales of snack foods (an extra 45.4m packs of chocolate, cakes and crisps)

It’s almost as if advertising is indeed very effective? 🤔
