Which is another bullshit belief people have that the Church can just excommunicate entire generations of a single family.

But no, there's nothing even in english. The word "excommunication" is never used at any point.

People just assume he got excommunicated because he left the knight company he was part of. People think the Church excommunicated people over literally anything.

Unfortunately, by creating this lore for Leon, IGA fed on the OTHER misconception that "Trevor was excommunicated" +

I edited the Castlevania Legends portraits for no other reason but thinking the originals weren't as sharp as they could be. Also, added missing details to Dracula.

Here's one that was discovered relatively recently: Leon Belmont has a middle name starting with M (so "Leon M. Belmont"). We do not know what that M means.

He was the son of an alchemist who didn't give a shit for him. His mother also was indifferent towards him. So, watching his suffering and potential power, animals of the night induced a fire that killed his parents, and then they guide him to Dracula's castle, where he becomes an apprendice.

I mean, I have beaten this game with just Alucard's fists as weapons. This is not a brag, the game is truly easy.

I think there's merit to this game being on the easier side. "Vibevania" like a friend told me one time. SotN is a vibes game and it works.

Well hmmm....

Alucard's armor in Castlevania Judgment has the image of Archangel Michael of Castel Sant'Angelo printed on the back.

There's one more cute observation about this that no one repeats because I never wrote it in my original discovery post :P

He is described as "the man who gathered the power to completely destroy Dracula". We learn of his previous contact with the Hakuba clan through Aria and Grimoire. So yeah, it was him during his travels who learned of the Hakuba's power.

The spear wielded by Eric is truly named Alucard Spear. The spear does really appear on the Saturn port, but it's not "approved" by the SotN creators.

Eric is not related to Adrian. The Lecarde clan is actually related to the Belmonts.

You're welcome! I just want to add a last bit here: This is not a problem of mistranslations. The english manual/game never says anything about Simon reviving Dracula, either.

This looks like it's 100% made up by the community.
