Hello new followers! You're probably all here because @starfleetdesign.bsky.social reposted my TOS Enterprise comparison chart. You all have inspired me to post the updated version with corrected colors, fixed errors, and a lot more observations!
What platforms would this wind up on?

Happy 17-01 day!!!

I'm not doing anything with the ole gal, but here are some oldies of a 3D mesh that's a quarter of a century old. OMG.. some of YOU are younger than these renders!! 🤣

I'm just going to go sip some prune juice now......😭

Love the Enterprise in the dry dock. Roddenberry said that was the same one the TOS ship was originally built in.

Sometime I need to put up the TTF I made of the USAF font used for the livery. I traced it right out of the air force document. All the letters are based on a grid and are made purely of 90 and 45 degree angles.

Just posted it upthread.

Oh, and here's a link to a slightly larger version of it fit for wallpapers and such!
11 Foot TOS Enterprise Model Comparison Chart - Star Trek - The Webcomic
Hey all. Between comics I was inspired to create a chart showcasing the differences between each update of the Enterprise studio model used for filming The Original Series. The 11 foot beast of a mode...

Terry Matalas was full of junk about the Conspiracy aliens killing the host. Gregory Quinn is very much alive at the end, and I assume so is the rest of Starfleet command.

That feeds into this storyline:

I love Sam Esmail’s style, but don’t care for his writing. Mr. Robot did not appeal to me at all, and I watched way more of it than I should have. However, Homecoming s01, which he directed but didn’t write, was utterly enthralling.

All the Star Trek currently airing has already been cancelled. All the seasons they’re going to get are already filmed. Everyone’s been paid. There’s no reason to not get the episodes through means other than the official ones. There’s nothing left to support.

Maybe he thinks it made him more handsome or something?

It’s not just weak. It’s completely inaccurate. It didn’t even include his jowls and the hairline is completely wrong. It’s a totally different person but from a similar angle. Completely useless.

Should have tiny disclaimer at the bottom that says “*not to scale”.
Here's the new #StarTrek 60th anniversary bumper video that will play before every new episode of the franchise in 2026, beginning with today's #StarfleetAcademy series debut

I agree.

I personally never need to see another Superman/Batman/Spiderman origin again. But every Superman is played differently, and I need to know a little about them before I can care that they’re injured. And I always want show over tell. Only Star Wars and Flash Gordon can get away with text blocks.
January 13, 2026 at 10:33 PM
I would say my biggest criticism of Superman is that there is an opening text dump and that it starts with him beat up. I don’t think it would have been that big a deal to tack on an extra 7 minutes to the front and show him get that beat down.

This is probably the best design update on that show.

We have come to terms.

I don’t think there is a lot of teen shows out there that cast actual teens, are there? Gossip Girl, Freaks and Geeks, and Never Have I Ever all cast kids in their twenties.

This sounds good. I was thinking more of aspics with savory stuff in them, like cabbage, hotdogs, and green olives.

It’s definitely layers of oil and water. I used to have a thin plate with two different colors of water on two different layers. You’d flip it and it would take 15 minutes of slow moving blobs to get to equilibrium again. Like a poor man’s lava lamp.
