Thanks for the kind words, just further evidence that I brood too much. But words are my only currency, so I try to use them best I can. In fact I've been sitting here for a bit wondering what to write about today and I'm still not sure if I want to bury myself in politics, nature or just wing it.

Merrick Garland was appointed as a mea culpa for being Mitched out as a SCOTUS justice. Very reminiscent of the Bob Dole candidacy for president in 1996–weak, next man up mentality.
