Oh, bullshit. Tax credits & subsidies were available. Expanded Medicaid covered a lot more people. The “age tax” was greatly reduced. Our premiums for fam/4 in ‘11’-‘12 were cut by > 50%, and we bought the highest premium/lowest deductible ($0) available.
