Donald Trump did not discover Greenland.
A piece I did last Friday in @thebulwark.com, before the shooting in Minneapolis.
NATO has spent the past two decades rediscovering something many Americans filed away after the Cold War. Needless to say, Trump did not suddenly discover the strategic importance of Greenland.
