I'm struggling with this one.

It makes some sense; he's a decent finisher, and I had the feeling his worst performances last time were because he didn't want to play in midfield/ on the wing, where we're fine now.

Agreed.
I've never been so angry at one of their sackings and it's hard to offer him the leeway I've given others.
But also agree he doesn't help himself with lineups and changes.

We seemed better with a back 4 the other night.
Plus I love the attacking intent, and think the lineup still provides enough bite in midfield.
For personal preference, I'd stick with Selvik in goal atm.

I agree it's the former.
I think we looked at our best between the half time subs and Abankwah going off.
One of the issues for me is experience of English football. He's chopped and changed too often, and fielded teams lacking hugely in that area. It's such a tough division.
