Two per leg? I thought only one shin bone per leg.

Art is important. Especially in times of distress.

It helps us to see, feel, and think about things from different or new perspectives.

Humour is a kind of art, bonding us together, and cutting through rhetoric. But it has little pigment. And no clay.

Clay is very serious.

THIS JUST IN:

With the spice trade being a multibillion dollar industry, the US government this week has set its sites on controlling Indonesian cinnamon mine production. This is concerning on a number of levels.

New rule:

Anytime someone tries to make you feel bad when responding to your joke with β€œWell if you have to explain it, it’s not funny” you’re allowed to kick them in the shins.

Because that’s funny.

Asked my dog β€œWhere is my husband?” And he looked at me like he had no idea what I was talking about.

I said β€œYou know, like in the song by Raye?”

And he says β€œMy interests are food, squirrels, and my tail.

And I was like fair enough.

Improve back pain, decrease risk of catching something else.

Virtual care can help.
Why offer virtual care for back pain?

Because sitting in a busy waiting room can be much riskier for people with health and autoimmune conditions.

Hey Mark, did you take two and a half hours to fix a sink plumbing issue today that would take a normal person fifteen minutes?

Yes.

Are you feeling proud, even though it took that long?

Yes.

Are you mostly just looking for kudos?

Yes.

You see, what’s funny is that I always think Mead should be spelled with an e on the end.
β€œNever doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the- you know what… we’re screwed.”

John Travolta as Louis de Pointe du Lac in the 1994 movie Interview With The Vampire:

β€œGee, I haven’t been human in, like, two hundred years. Whoa!”

A Story is a Deal, by Will Storr.

A discussion about how stories are incorporated into our being, and how they guide and build our identity and the choices we make.

I’m always interested in stuff like this from a personal/public health perspective. But it’s broader than that.

Not raining here, but I have been reading. A book.

Are you at home doomscrolling right now?

I highly recommend you get a fireplace channel from YouTube up on the tv.

It takes the edge off.
