Before I got there, he accused a lawyer of ‘smearing the dead’. Paul Dacre is, of course, the editor who described the Miliband brothers’ late, war hero father as the ‘man who hated Britain’ then doubled down when Ed made a heartfelt plea for compassion.
I was in the High Court today to watch Paul Dacre get cross-examined. Will report back on tomorrow’s show.

The Home Office now describes asylum seekers as "illegal immigrants [living in hotels]" with no reference to the reason that these people are in government-funded accommodation is that this government has taken & will process the asylum claim from them in 98-99% of cases of unauthorised entry.

‘No light at the end of the tunnel for consumers’ as 2025 figure is 50% higher than previous year, says Citizens Advice
Royal Mail has been criticised for offering an “unacceptable” performance over the crucial Christmas period after it failed to deliver letters and cards on time to about 16 million people, Citizens Advice found.
The consumer watchdog, which carried out research into Christmas deliveries, said that figure was 50% higher than in 2024, and the highest level over the festive period in five years, excluding when Royal Mail was hit by strike action in the run-up to Christmas four years ago. Continue reading...
