If I was advising the EU—and I 100% should be—my advice is that you prepare three sets of sanction packages:
1. Deliberate targeting of personal/corporate assets of Trump, Musk, Andressen, Sacks, etc like they’re Russian oligarchs by doing stuff like seizing Gigafactory Berlin. This gets used first.

Whatever's waiting for them on the other side needs to be worse than the consequences for crossing Trump. If, suddenly, a whole mess of extremely wealthy donors became PNG and business gets a lot more difficult to do, that might do it
You really do have to wonder at what point Congressional Republicans finally end this
i agree, but the fact that we are here where EU sources are talking about nuking big tech among other US sectors to the Telegraph feels a lot like the 1939 moment

I feel like we've had an actual pro-democracy popular front in this country very recently, and it was Zohran Mamdani, Brad Lander, and their constituencies/political traditions joining forces to defeat Andrew Cuomo, a murderer and abuser openly supported by our pedophile dictator & his billionaires.
