Myth Confirmed! Youtube shorts use a FUBAR compression setting which you can't change 🤨 (or not as far as I can see 👀)

Just posting this here to see if Youtube make the same pigs ear of the compression as it did with my previous short - I suspect the compression settings for shorts are FUBAR

Well done ladies ⚽️ 😍
I didn't use paint for my studio, I had a fabric backdrop - but the most important part is lighting - it must be evenly lit - I used long florescent tubes around the background and a couple of defuse boxes uplighting + one key-light from above/behind www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0Vi...

This is the frame registration - the fly-wheel turns with a stepper motor and contacts with a piece of copper tape - if it hasn't reached the copper tape then the motor advances another step until the green led lights - then we're good to go with the frame capture.
And here's the scanning equipment in action 😱🧐🤪
Captured using a Raspberry Pi with Picamera (HQ) in HD from a 16mm cine film nearly 80 years old! The film runs at 24 frames per second but I have upsampled it to 60fps - the sound was captured separately using an optical sound read head on a Bell and Howell Filmosound.
$3 million grant to make that questionnaire - and that's all it takes to get your answer 🐈
This is part of a quick fly-through in VR to give you an idea of how things are coming together.
If you want to get early access to the game and tutorials about how it's being made. #threejs #RogueEngine

AI is like a Quad bike - it's really fun for a while - there are probably some good uses for it if properly used - but if you use it for everything you're gunna need a crash hat ⛑️
Yep - that's the look 🤪- but I was ZX81 machine code - poke 16514 - IYKYN 😉

For some context - this is a 16mm cine film from 1946 captured with a homemade converted cine projector bsky.app/profile/mark...
I love it when a plan comes together 🤪 - 16mm cine film scanner project to convert movies to HD mp4 - converted Bell&Howell TQI projector using #RaspberryPi to control everything with python script using #opencv to capture and encode #16mm #retrocine #RPI #retrofilm #rpihack
Replaced the '4K' camera in my 16mm cine scanner with an HQ Raspberry Pi cam - getting much better results now - getting quite happy with the output now. #16mmfilm #retrovideo #16mm #cinefilm #raspberrypi #opencv #python

Britain finally gets it, video games are big business.

The Creative Industries Sector Plan just dropped, and for the first time, video games aren't an afterthought, but part of the solution! This is a huge achievement for our industry and video games.

Still need to sort out the finer points of sprockets and rotations but the first output is looking promising 😀🤓
