Because of their quotas and because they're not exactly cut out for taxing detective work, ICE/CBP tend to target people in the worst and laziest ways possible.
After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.
Video from this morning shows ICE agents deploying tear gas outside a Minneapolis preschool as parents shout, “This is a preschool! There’s kids here!”

It seems rather pressing to me. How can we expect these murders to stop if the killers are *deliberately hidden by the administration* when they shuld be prosecuted?
It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.

I hate to agree with the guy, but this is right.
The killing of Alex Pretti and the grotesque lying was an overreach by the administration. They've paid a price and had to pull back a bit. But it's when there's some disarray that the democratic opposition needs to intensify the offensive, and turn a marginal tactical success into a major victory.

You know what’s weird? In Trump’s first term, the media couldn’t stop talking about how his supporters loved a crazy conspiracy theory about liberal elites trafficking children. In his second term, the Epstein files are a huge story—and nobody brings up the contradiction or asks what happened.

Schumer posted “ICE out of Minnesota” yesterday, and I was like “Do you want them to come to New York and terrorize your constituents?!”
I find this language really gross. First off, it's weak as hell. But second, if your demand is simply that ICE leaves Minnesota, that's just telling them to go to another state to terrorize people.
These centrist squishes need to push for full abolition of ICE.
