As others have pointed out, the founders never foresaw a corrupt president (which we have) abusing the pardon power to absolve all criminals and miscreants for any reason, nor did our Daffy Duck Supreme Court ever think it might not be a good idea to put said president above the law.

Quite right. If they can ignore and change the law on a whim, so then can we. Treason is treason and we must demand that NOT ONE PERSON who participated in the terrorism gets away with it. And if the govt refuses, well, look up Nazi Hunters after WW2. They will be held accountable.

Would the Supreme Court rule that taking a bribe for a pardon was an "official act" by the president and immune from prosecution? I'm serious. If Trump announced he was selling pardons for $1M a pop, could anyone do anything about it, short of impeachment? (Which carries no prison sentence.)
