Yes, we were just there 10 days ago. Flowers were still blooming even though it was chilly. Very humid for us who are accustomed to single-digit humidity at home.

In 1940 some local boys followed their dog into a #cave in #Lascaux #France. They found these remarkable #paintings which turned out to be 21,000 years old. By 1960 it had to close due to deterioration of the paintings. #LascauxIV allows us to see this magnificent art in a museum setting. #Docent 👏👏

Stayed at #HostellerieLaRoseraie in #Montignac-Lascaux for a few days as we visited the #prehistoric #caves in the region. Their #restaurant serves #breakfast #buffet & #dinner. Mark was down with a bad cold, so they prepared a #Mushroom #soup for me to bring to him in the room. #Compassionate #Care

Took a #TGV #train from #Paris to #Caen, Rented a car #Avis 👍👍 Visited #MontStMichel on our way to #Dinan where we stayed 2 days. I was taken aback by the influencer plying her trade in #Abbaye du Mont-Saint-Michel, but maybe that's more common than I realized.

Favorite #Museum #MuséeMarmottanMonet; An upside down experience at #Louvre BUYER BEWARE!! We had bought tickets for a guided tour only to find we needed to buy general Admission tickets too, so we walked out; At #ClunyMuseum I enjoyed the building as much as the art; #Foucault #pendulum #Pantheon
