There is no acceptable level of homelessness. Homelessness figures are at record high again. As the university term starts, I shouldn’t be hearing about students sleeping in cars.
This government isn’t treating the housing crisis with the urgency it deserves. Where is the new housing strategy?

If anyone you know is older and has not had the shingles vaccine, tell them to get it. Even if you have to pay for it in Ireland. Besides shingles it also has a proven connection to helping with dementia, particularly in women. It should be free. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
