I took another day off work today and I think I may have finally gotten below the magic number where vacation stops accumulating. But definitely not stopping here because it turns out that working 4 days a week is doing amazing things for my mental health.

Today's grim thought is wondering what I could have done to build more of an ethical spine into the writers I edited or the editorial colleagues I used to have who are now at NYT. Yes, I was disabled by illness for a lot of that time period, but I still feel like I am culpable for these cowards now.
