Today marks 13 years since I officially joined the games industry, and this studio. #GameDev

Worked on a lot of games in that time. Mostly porting to lower powered systems, lots of mobile and Switch work. A few of my favourite projects over the years:

I'm not even sure I'm going to bother with a tree or decorations when I move, so it was nice to be able to put up the tree in the @rebellion.com North office today :-)

Saw this in the Post Office this morning over the self-service machines, which apparently can't perform one of the major advertised features, and can only post certain things. Haha.

The absolute best feeling when you're demoing a game at a show, is when someone scans the qr code, hits the buy button, and purchases a copy of your game right there and then.

Ah, of course. "Crash in less than 0.5 seconds" achievement was literally crashing our MCM / EGX demo yesterday, due to not having Steam running. Fixed now, new demo on the PC ready for a busy Saturday :-) #GameDev #IndieDev #MCM #EGX

Considering Friday is the quiet day for MCM Birmingham Comic Con, we had a pretty good day. Steady stream of players throughout the day. Gave out maybe 50 of our flyers, and one person bought a copy of the game.

Tomorrow should be good. I need to hand out more of the flyers to people passing by :-)

Of course there's a crash bug when you finish a level! In my EGX / MCM demo.

The PC doesn't have Steam, and it's trying to set the leaderboard score. Got the laptop out, wrapped some code & put together a new build. Copied to the PC and fixed it.

Life on the front lines, haha!

Gamers really love Indie Games (when they're discounted). @positrongame.com sales for the past year (excluding the launch spike of about 80 units sold). I routinely offer a flat 25% discount during sale periods, and don't intend to go lower. #GameDev #IndieDev #IndieGame #Steam #Sale

Is anyone I know demoing at To The Moon Expo today? How's it been? How many players have you had? Any photos or videos to share?

We had to pull out due to a scheduling conflict (and an opportunity to exhibit later in the month at Rezzed/EGX/MCM).
