My brain hurts after finding out The Minecraft Movie was the big earner for the year.

I get it, the game is beyond popular, it's viral, but the brain still kind of hurts to see it.
“Wicked: For Good” dominated its opening weekend and grossed an estimated $150 million at the domestic box office, according to early estimates reported by the Hollywood trade publications, turning it into the second-biggest premiere of 2025.

I mean this one has been out for a while. Confirmation from King has been incoming for some time.

Its a difficult one for me, becaue King's books meant a lot to me growing up. There weren't a lot of Indigenous protagonists in fiction at the time.

Still, I'm really tired of this story.

Doing a research project and even after a small amount of reasearch on First Nations/Inuit/Metis artist, I am finding conflicting information between online and practical sources.

Also, I feel sad that some of these amazing artists don't have huge biographies written about them.

So apparently gay rams are often killed because they don't tend to make more rams.

So this gay farmer buys the gay rams to keep them alive and sells the wool!

Listening to a re-recording of their first album is damn cool.

It’s been a decade since they released it.

Watching this show, I was so uncomfortable with how they were trying to make someone this beautiful seem like they were ugly.

I stopped watching it because it was such a dumb premise.

I don't want to see young artists of Native ancestry paint themselves into a box in their search for authenticity. Every artist paints from the own cultural heritage and their own experience. Whatever you heritage, it will come out in your brush.
