As much as I like it, it doesn’t establish the emotional bond between the characters and us...
A bond I would have loved to experience for the final arc of arcane , which could have been far more intense.

I totally agree!

Some story could have been cut from the show to let more room to create emotional attachment to the new characters.

To my part, S2's ''main'' story feels very off. It was like many cool things so diluted it became meaningless.

And I hate that this made me emotionless.
