Maybe instead of purging the Social Security workers who make sure seniors get their checks on time, we should be expanding benefits to make life a little easier for your parents and grandparents.

This news truly breaks my heart.

We are calling on HHS to take immediate action. Secretary Kennedy needs to bring back weekly measles tracking from the CDC, rehire the health experts, and roll out a serious vaccine campaign. Our kids' safety is on the line!

People are mad, and we should be. We know when we’re being scammed.

In the name of “efficiency” Musk is firing park rangers and cancer researchers, and defunding Medicare and Medicaid, all to find money for tax breaks for himself and big corporations.
Mark Alford (R-MO): Elon Musk has contracts with the federal government, but he is also, I think, doing an effective job at weeding out the waste, abuse, and fraud in the government.

Constituents: BOOO!!! SHOW ME!!! CONFLICT OF INTEREST!!! HE IS THE WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE!!!

Two years ago today I signed a bill making Minnesota the first state to codify abortion rights after the fall of Roe v. Wade.

Politicians across the nation turned back the clock on reproductive rights. But here in Minnesota, we trust people to make their own decisions.

This is dangerous.

Trump is inciting more violence that will put patients and providers further at risk.
Breaking news: The Justice Department said it will roll back Biden-era efforts to criminally charge demonstrators who interfere with patient access to reproductive health clinics, calling those prosecutions an example of the “weaponization” of law enforcement.
Justice Dept. to cut back prosecution of abortion clinic protest cases
The change reflects President Donald Trump’s position that abortion clinic protesters have been unfairly prosecuted under the FACE Act.

Just a reminder that in 2019, RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine misinformation campaign helped cause a measles outbreak in Samoa that killed 83 people, mostly kids.

Do you really want him to lead the Department of Health and Human Services?

some people really try to make housing policy more complicated than it needs to be, when the crux is actually quite simple:

if you make it easier to build more housing (through financing, zoning, building codes, etc.), more homes will be built and rents will go down

Finished reading Senator Warren's book 'Persist'. Always had an appreciation for how she makes policy personal. If you followed her 2020 campaign for President a lot of the stories in the book will be familiar, but still a great read. Glad we're sending her back to the Senate 🙌🏼
