1. Throwback to 2014, when I visited Lisbon and instantly fell in love with it.
During that trip, I created a few sketches inspired by this beautiful city.
In February 2015, I uploaded ready artwork to sell online, and later that year, when I moved to Lisbon, I was shocked to see my art everywhere!

It took me years to embrace the new identity as a writer and illustrator.
I knew the artist, but the writer was always waiting.Then, I realized: Nobody will give me permission to be who I want to become. Only I can do that.
I could talk about this for hours!

Most of you already do this, but as an agent it's super helpful when illustrators put on their #kidlitartpostcard if they have an agent. I often go through the feed and like postcards from illustrators I want to see queries from. That way I can avoid accidentally trying to poach someone. #kidlitchat
