Lucky to be alive today.
All traffic flowing normally on the M8, when suddenly the lorry in front brakes hard and crashes into another lorry in front of it.
Behind me, another lorry.
I managed to stop with approx 40cm to spare. The lorry's Margin behind was even less.

I'm not going to lie. This new job has not got off to a good start. So far I've worked every day
But getting to finally go to the hockey in my new town and see a mascot I've wanted to see for years has put some warmth back into my soul.
(The game was also excellent).

Y'know, we talk about the proverbial plushpile all the time because, like, they're so warm and cozy and snuggly and totally harmless -- @plsfeedthebear.bsky.social and @tytophoenix.bsky.social made sure of that!
Just make sure to hydrate them regularly, and swap the batteries once a week or so. :/3
