"...And not one will know of the war, not one
Will care at last when it is done.

Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree
If mankind perished utterly;

And Spring herself, when she woke at dawn,
Would scarcely know that we were gone."

Who hasn't felt the wind moving adagio above them, drawing them away from (the horrors of) life?
Is it safe haven or madness?

Heartbroken does not begin to describe what I feel, for while there is talk of ceasefire, all I see is what's buried under the rubble.
This is for the people of G*za as they make their way to what is left of home.

So I guess the tRump is going to watch the US open tennis match...did they have a trophy made just for him this time around or will he take the winner's (again)?
Hope the heat doesn't get him. Would be sad, so sad, I mean really sad, the saddest thing, like the world has never seen anything so sad.

I find it hopeless. Time spent discussing how much of nothing but waiting.
Reading about *another* publisher not paying royalties. Like, why are people not ring-fencing??? Also, when negotiating your contracts it should say how often authors receive statements/royalties & when, plus it's absolutely ok to ask the publisher how they handle this and how they ring-fence/escrow

I am thrilled to participate in this incredible event with an incredible lineup of Palestinian writers and supporters of Palestine, with all ticket proceeds to benefit Palestinian orphans, via INARA. If you’re in New York City, buy your tickets now. I’m pretty sure the event will sell out.

I carry this beautiful book with me from room to room. I read, become overwhelmed, put it down, do stuff, pick it up, read, then carry it into another room with me… I know how it ends. #nakba

For years I read to kids in libraries. I fell in love with the poetry of #GianniRodari, an Italian writer, teacher, and brilliant man with a profound sense of justice and equality.
This is from the book: "Il cielo è di tutti"
