Had a little book of how to cook Restaurant style curries and frying then boiling the onions in Tumeric and Garlic before whacking it all in the blender as a base was an absolute game changer for me. Then you can go to town on the spices and all the other stuff 👍👍👍
Do you cook curries from scratch?? It’s a big go to for me 👍.
Fair enough. If he is, then that’s great and obviously he’s welcome to speak out if he’s fairly representative of Jewish Villa fans. It still seems odd though if that Jewish fan group isn’t part of the club diversity group though. That would be the thing to clear up for me.
Yes, I’d seen that. Even with that background, I’ve no problem with him speaking on the topic if he is truly representative of our Jewish fans, makes clear his HJS role then he can be all means set out the position and be subject to questioning. My issue is confirming he’s a Villa fan and the group.
Difficult though. Justin’s done well to reach out to make contact but he’s not a professional journalist so perhaps didn’t delve into the chap’s credentials.
Exactly that. We have plenty of horrible twats amongst our number and they’re free to support the club if they want. Obviously there should be boundaries in relation to personal conduct but agreeing or disagreeing with what’s going on geopolitically shouldn’t prevent you from being a Villa fan.
Is it not surprising that we don’t have a Jewish group in our diversity network though? That seems an oversight if we don’t. Given the prominence of anti-semitic issues then that’s an important voice to be heard.
Ok I will take a listen. I hope it’s a bit more back story rather than just him commenting on the current situation. Well done Justin.
It is. However, the important thing now is to ensure the club has the correct Villa Jewish representation available and integrated properly into the diversity network. Not a possible charlatan wrapping himself in a cloak that is not valid.
I have no problem if someone has a pro Israel agenda. I may disagree with them but I’ve no right to censor or police that view point. It’s the question of whether he is a Villa fan or this fan group exists that concerns me.
I would certainly be absolutely delighted to hear we have a Jewish supporters group as part of our diversity network understanding it may have a different view but I’d be pretty irritated if we have someone with no connection attempting to use us as a vehicle for disinformation and propaganda.
I don’t think we should let this go. I would like to hear from some better sources on this chap. Obviously fans come from a wide diaspora and backgrounds. He can speak as he wishes of course but we should know whether this group is real, is part of our diversity network or whether he is a Villa fan.
Sky News platforms a fake Jewish Villa fan claiming he received death threats. The same routine was played out on GBNews and TalkTV. Andrew Fox is not Jewish neither is he the honorary head of the Jewish AVFC fan club. He's a far-right propagandist and Palestinian genocide denier. #SkyNews #FakeNews

It is avfc scout that incensed me and got an immediate block. Remember having to block on X. Absolutely spineless turncoat.
Think it was a logical, good value signing when we took him off the back of a good season with Luton. But with hindsight knowing he’s had injuries and personal issues, it hasn’t been great.
And that’s the importance, particularly away from home of being organised and defending well. They didn’t create very much at all so in a tight game you give yourself a chance with those moments.
He truly is. Obviously not on just the basis of this game but over time he just proves again and again that he knows how to win many more games of football than he loses.
I wonder what the wobbly ones are thinking? Will people ever learn? Relax, show some faith and let Unai do his thing. Criticise if you wish but call for him to be sacked? Nah. Idiots.
First block on here of someone actually calling for Unai to go. Fuck off. Fuck off again and when you’ve fucked off, fuck off some more. No one is happy but I absolutely despise “fans” who show that little resilience and backbone that they crumble after 5 games. 😡
#avfc that was magic!! Classic Emery away performance. Controlled, composed and didn’t give up the ball too much. Limited them to very little, made some good substitutions and scored a couple of worldies.
Yes she’s great!! We’re seeing her in Chester so a chance to go and visit the town first and then listen to her. I bet that’s a fascinating subject to study although I’m guessing there’s a lot of back breaking graft.
I’m not sure I did that either!! 😂 I remember doing some ancient world stuff in Primary but nothing in Secondary. I probably find it more interesting now I’m older. Off to see Mary Beard on Thursday!! Nerd central 😂😂
This is really weird? @johntownley.bsky.social @danrolinson.bsky.social has anyone had any contact with him or this organisation? I mean I fully support a Jewish Supporters group as part of our diversity network but it’s important to understand if this is real or if we have someone jumping on this?
This seems to be where we are...
Sky News is platforming a guy who says he's from a Jewish Aston Villa supporters group, but it turns out that the guy a) isn't Jewish, b) the group doesn't exist, and c) he works for the right wing Henry Jackson Society, whose website says he 'specialises in disinformation'. Well, quite.
